Conflict management for international teams
Conflict workshops, facilitated conversations and manager training for multicultural teams, delivered online in English by psychologists.
There is conflict between my employees. How do I resolve it? Meet each person separately, then hold a facilitated joint conversation with clear ground rules, and agree specific commitments with a review date. If bullying is alleged, follow your formal procedure instead (in Ireland, the HSA/WRC Code of Practice on the Prevention and Resolution of Bullying at Work).
- Act early. 2. Separate facts from interpretations. 3. Focus on behaviour, not personality. 4. Write a simple agreement. 5. Review in 2 to 4 weeks.
Many conflicts start with overload or unclear roles; burnt-out people have less patience. See also how to manage conflict without losing people.
In multicultural teams, many conflicts are not about the work itself but about how people disagree: directness, consensus, silence, hierarchy. Our psychologists help teams turn friction into clear agreements, online and in English.
Where conflict comes from in Nordic workplaces
- Consensus culture. Decisions take time, and newcomers can read silence as agreement, or as rejection.
- Different directness. What feels honest to one colleague feels rude to another.
- Flat hierarchy. When it is unclear who decides, mixed teams feel the tension.
- Remote and hybrid work. Misunderstandings grow in chat and email.

Confidentiality and neutrality
The psychologist is neutral and external to the company. What is said in facilitated conversations stays there unless everyone agrees to share the agreements.
When to escalate
Harassment, discrimination or safety issues need your formal HR and legal processes. We support people alongside them, not instead of them.
Pricing
On request, as part of a proposal. See also intercultural couples for how cultural differences play out at home, and burnout in remote and digital teams.
